Trend: Yellow

 

Hiya, today I’m talking about all shades of yellow(amber, pale, pastel, lime, neon, canary, golden etc.) as a trend in 2015. Earlier on in the year, as stores started showcasing their new collections (after the christmas and new year sales), I noticed how stores such as Next, River Island, HM, Dorothy Perkins etc. were bursting with vibrant yellows and I found it super exciting! Yellow is back! I know its not entirely groundbreaking for spring but yellow is a warm colour and makes everything brighter and cosier and … Maybe I’m just sick of this bitterly cold weather lol. Its no surprise yellow is ahead of the trends this spring, as many high end designers such as Celine, Prada, Michael Kors etc. had yellow flowing through their spring/summer 2015 collections.
