Catch that Itch

DSC_0236

Hello my darlings! I hope you’re enjoying your weekend.Today I’m talking about the awesomeness of Sulfur8 Medicated Anti-Dandruff Conditioner. Growing up, you might remember a really greasy, smelly ointment in a tube called Sulfur8 as well but this has a completely different sensation. I’ve always had really dry skin and an even drier scalp and what’s worse is that I despise greasy/oily creams generally. One week into a weave, I usually find myself slapping my head so hard because of the itchiness, especially when I’ve forgotten to use my shea butter prior to a sew in. I know a number of ladies that also slap their heads proper hard lol and hunnies, its not healthy and neither does it look attractive when you’re in public.

I’ve had my current weave installed for six weeks now and because its a closed fix, my fingers/tail comb/ruler can’t reach anywhere to get the spot if you know what I mean lol. I would usually apply shea butter around my scalp and places I can reach but I found that this leaves my hair really dirty and sooner rather than later, it turns flaky. This is the only reason I do not like creams, they leave your hair super dirty and sometimes greasy. This Sulfur8 spray is the truth! Although it says “Braids” on the bottle but that doesn’t matter because we have corn rows underneath our weaves right? I spray it in roughly once in three days, sometimes less and it gives a very soothing and cool sensation. To add to this awesomeness, it doesn’t leave your hair greasy at all, its been six weeks and I haven’t seen a single flake. It is super affordable (cost me about £3.50) with a good smell and I highly recommend this product.

Thank me later

Alex
