SBA x Grey Velvet 1:Unconventional Florals

Hello lovelies! I trust you are well and having a lovely weekend. I’ve just got in from church, shooting and having brunch on portobello road with my friend and master photog, Iyin ;). I had a full english and am now thinking of making some nachos with cheese, sour cream.. the whole shebang for movie night soonish.

I’m sure you recall two weeks ago when I mentioned collaborating with Grey Velvet and here is the first of quite a few outfits. Grey velvet is your go-to store in Nigeria for the best of Nigerian designers with a full selection of clothing and accessories. I remember a few years back, going in and admiring all the beautiful pieces and because of how much I loved the store, my aunt got me a gorgeous print bag from there which I still rock till now. How time flies and look how amazing God is.

Now, let’s talk about this gorgeous dress! I proper love how unconventional these florals are and also that it graduates from white to black. We all know how much I’m overdoing the off shoulder thing these days so I guess we can say this dress does it for me completely. Also, I mentioned an interesting project I’m working on last week and thought to share a bit of it with you today. I’m starting an eyewear line and the sunnies i’m wearing in this post is one of the many I have designed. There will be more info on this later but just wanting to get your initial thoughts on it and I’m very open to suggestions too. Thank you!

The sunnies cool. A bit busy tho because petals and pearls, but totally cool for a casual outing 👍

So gorgeous. I love the whole off shoulder thing going on and I love the white and black floral print. They are so in sync and mix beautifully. Your shades? Amazing. I have some sort of shades fetish. LOL. Really beautiful.

Let me know what you think! x
