Slipping into Autumn

Hello lovelies! Been a minute.. I’m basically transitioning into autumn (bit late, yes) but its currently about 27 degrees in London so i’ll say I can be excused. I don’t know if you recall, but I mentioned going full on into this boudoir trend a few weeks back and today I’ve brought you another lacy Ann Summers number. You may have spotted the slip dress countless times worn with white tees inside for a daytime look but I wanted an outfit that could go for both day and night. Rummaging through my wardrobe, I realised i didn’t have a coatigan to pull off this look and so I had to improvise with my Granny’s cardi (Marks and Sparks of course). For a daytime look, I’d swap the lace up sandals for flat pointed mules or velvet ankle boots.

The slip dress is your go-to outfit for anything if you want to slay without trying too hard. Check Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, Misguided and Asos for some really cute ones and thank me later.

Meanwhile, don’t get tired of these Kensington houses just yet, I’ll hang around them till I can live in them. It’s Harvey o’ Clock, later lovelies

Alex
