Hi lovelies! Been a minute (If I had a pound for overtime I’ve said this) Basically, I turned 25 and spent it in the most amazing city! The last 4 weeks has been about me stressing before my birthday trip and trying to sort my life out + adjust to reality after a swell time away. I was in Marbella, a beautiful city in the south of Spain and I thought I’d share some of my favourite things to do if you’re thinking of visiting.
There’s quite a lot to do in Marbs from different beach clubs to water sports and activities. As there was limited time, we only did a few as I’m not one for trying to do everything in the name of experiencing the city.
Visit the Old Town, Marbella
As in every other European country I’ve been (each with its own individuality of course), the old town featured narrow walkways, cobble stones and super cute restaurants in every corner. We wandered the streets for about 3 hours and even got chased by a stray dog. Myself and my friend Oge get a little freaked out by dogs so you can imagine the drama. I froze dead in my tracks as it came close but then the dog saw Oge and probably thought she was a better catch and went after her instead.. Best believe I made a run for it! Not sure how she got away, but we are fine lol. Anyway! We had some awesome Tapas here and can I just say I had waaaay too many Pina Coladas on this trip. But hey, fruits are good for you, yes?

Please note a few of my outfits were made by my mum and hence no links.
Beach Day at Nikki Beach, Marbella
The popular Nikki beach club is well known for its stunning outlook and great parties in cities such as Ibiza, Dubai etc. We came here on my birthday and everything was perfect! We rented a cabana, ate amazing chicken and avo wraps and basically danced all day.
Late Lunch by the Beach at Puerto Banus
Quite easily my favourite part! Its called ‘the Miami’ of Marbella and it houses all the high street and luxury shops. The best part was definitely tapas and yummy smoothies with my friends at a fabulous beach front restaurant. After lunch, we explored more around Puerto Banus before heading back to the hotel.
Private Cruise Around Puerto Banus
I had super mixed feelings about this. I’d never been on a boat and now I know I probably wouldn’t be doing this again anytime soon (depends really) as after a few minutes.. I just went mute. Literally couldn’t speak or move due to the fear of being sick. LOL how pathetic! More importantly, it was the most beautiful view ever.
Night Out in Puerto Banus
On our last night in Marbs, we went out-out. First to a bar called Astral and then out-out to La Habana. The night life here was amazing and it was a great way to end the trip.
Other places to check out that we didn’t have time to go include the Boardwalk, La Sala on the Beach and Funky Buddha.
